Located in the heart of downtown Eugene, The Broadway is a casual, comfortable, and fun place to share delicious gourmet meals or a glass of fine wine or a beer with friends – either inside our cosmopolitan bistro or outside on the patio. We are a bistro, café, gourmet cheese purveyor, full service caterer, and wine specialty shop.
We have been offering delicious, innovative, and healthy food and an incredible selection of fine wine and beer to take-out or eat-in since 2003, when owners Angus James and Ellen Chamberlain bought the three-year-old café. We are able to bring our customers a wide range of gourmet tasting opportunities through monthly winemaker dinners, wine classes, and a menu that is always changing. We use organic and local ingredients whenever possible.
Our deli offerings are extensive —overstuffed sandwiches featuring fresh meats or vegetarian selections, tempting side dishes, and a great selection of drinks to accompany your meals.

Angus James
Angus has been involved in the restaurant and wine trade for over 20 years. Over the past two decades, Angus has built strong relationships with local wineries and wine distributors, resulting not only in a selection of wines that give the best value for the price, but an unparalleled selection of fine wines that are not available in most stores. Angus also has an amazing ability to remember each customer's palate, and can give suggestions and recommendations based on their unique preferences.
Ellen Chamberlain
Ellen came to Eugene five years ago after spending 20 years in the financial world (and traffic) in the Silicon Valley, California. She purchased wine from Angus for 2 years before realizing it would be more fun to be his business partner than his customer. The partnership has allowed Ellen to follow her desire to own and operate a small business and follow a passion at the same time-wine.
Randy Stokes
Randy has been in Eugene since 1992. He has been selling wine for 10 years and spent two years living and exploring wine in France. He came to The Broadway two years ago to get a sandwich and still hasn't left!!
Lori Pratt
Lori has recently joined the Broadway team. She has worked in the food and beverage business for over 25 years. She moved to Eugene after getting her degree in Botany and thinking Eugene was a Botanical paradise. Well..instead she became a chef and has spent time preparing the Northwest plant world as entrees. She believes in working hard for the customer and having fun. That's why she joined The Broadway.
