Clay Mauritson is the sixth generation in a family of grape growers. Born and raised in the Dry Creek Valley, Clay was destined for the wine business. In college Clay exhibited his prowess on the gridiron, playing outside linebacker for the University of Oregon Ducks in the 1995 Rose Bowl and the 1996 Cotton Bowl. Clay graduated in 1997 with a degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Economics. Armed with his new degree he came back to Sonoma County to officially enter the wine industry.

KRVM is a listener-supported public radio station licensed to Eugene School District 4J. From the very beginning, KRVM has worked to enrich the quality of life — and enhance the variety of music — in our community. For area students, KRVM serves as a radio classroom-of-the-air, offering the opportunity to learn and practice first-hand the skills required to successfully produce, write, voice, and engineer radio programming.

Though licensed to and owned by Eugene School District 4J, KRVM receives no funds from the 4J operating budget.

Rodolphe de Pins took over the family estate of Montfaucon in 1995 and subsequently rebuilt the winery and began practicing sustainable agriculture. He honed his winemaking skills in Barossa at Henschke and Vieux Telegraphe in Châteauneuf du Pape before returning to Lirac, so needless to say, his familiarity with the local varieties is well established.
